All this plow talk got me interested in plowing everything in the City. So I called the dealer and asked for pricing on a 48" Cycle country. I have a winch so I don't need the manual lift thingy. This is how it priced in Canadian Dollars:

Plow - $180 (not too bad)
Mounting kit - $73 (resonable)
Push tubes - $233 (What the he$% is this?)

SUb-total $486
Tax $ 34.02
Total $520.02

I don't what these push tubes are and what they are s'posed to do. Is my dealer trying to add a "couple" of extra dollars to his Christmas fund or what?

Glenn.

The push tubes connect the plow blade assembly to the mounting kit. I know, I thought they would be part of the mounting kit, but they aren't.

Still a better price than a good snowblower, and a heck of a lot more fun.....

Glen, call Accessory Warehouse at 1.800.241.2222 They sell the 50" Moose plow for $114.95 + mount kit $175.95 ($290.90 total) This is supposedly a better setup than the Cycle Country from what I hear. Good luck with whatever you buy.....Merry X-mas
