i plan to rebuild my 2 stroke

I am going to dissasemble my 2 stroke and put it all back together replacing only parts that are nessacery.... what im wondering is are there any tough times in dissasembaling or rebuilding that will be really hard to do? i am new to 2 strokes but I have experience with 4 strokes and automobile engines. thanks for anyhelp

2 stroke motors are going to be alot eaiser if you have expereince with 4 stroke motors are you doing just a top or bott end also there is nothing to the top ends on 2 strokes the bott end is a little harder just buy the book and you should be ok

hey thanx for the info on level of dificulty. but any parts that are for sure going to need replaced? also what is the best engine assembly prelube that anyone has used? i use this green stuff that is thick and doesn't run off. I have never had a dry start up when using it. it smokes a bit when first burned but then actully cleans what it is in. but other than that thanx for the input. Any links to a 2 stroke Forum or site that contains a faq? or any site that covers a 2 stroke rebuild?
