MY quad
#1
All i have to say about it is DAMN! its fast as hell! i outran a modified suzuki lt250 today. By about 4 quad lengths. and he got a jump start on me too! I think his quad has pipes, bigger carb, k&n filter, and Holeshot tires. I beat him on dirt and on pavement. Only question is when i go to start my quad. i have to start it with the choke on and full throtle.... which is a pain cause its pull start only. But I will soon have a pic for you all! the only thing that I have noticed is that Every once and a while when warming it up i hear a high pitched ringing and then it goes away when warm. Just kind of curious has anyone rode wheelies with an automatic? Also When im riding.... i let off of the throttle (none at all) and then it starts to die... is this typical 2 stroke? Just wondering. So thank you all for helpin me with the info! i am proud of myself. and everyone on this board.

Were Proud of you too Charlie!
But did you really beat a LT 250 R? I would never doubt a persons word, but that LT must have been sick! Do you know What was the first year Polaris made quads? I am just wondering...

Full choke to start; dies when you let off the throttle... sure sounds like a vacuum leak or a carb that is jetted way to lean. My guess is a vacuum leak. Maybe even missing a hose somewhere.
