To many variables in there to answer that question you ask POLARIS guy he will say one thing, you ask same question of HONDU guy he will have different answer. Both are great machines, just depends on what trips your trigger.

CHICKENman is definetely on to something. Of course the Polaris is going to be the faster of the two bikes. It is nearly 90cc's bigger and it is a Polaris. Honda has never been known for making a fast utility bike. Now you want to talk reliability I would have to say Honda. Nothing against Polaris on reliability. You guys know I don't bash, but Honda has the reiliablility name under its belt. They are both good bikes I'm sure. I have never ridden a Rancher, but I have ridden many of it's ancestors(the 300) and I'm sure it is about the same speed maybe a little faster. I have however ridden an Expedition. I really liked the ride and feel of it. It had the Polaris suspension and ride. I couldn't tell you much more than the Rancher doesn't have quite as much power as the Exp. but either are good bikes.

Thanks again for all the info. Will get back to you all after I make my purchase. I will probably be getting a plow set up powered up by a winch and will be praying for some snow.
Thanks
