warn vs. superwinch
#11
Fear not, Karter16. SuperWinch recently changed its electric motor subcontractor, and upgraded its handlebar-mounted rocker switch.
If you have a late-model SuperWinch ATV2000, with an upgraded rocker switch (orange dust cover on top), you have a winch that tested 2400 pounds stall pull after 9 hours total immersion in water. Also, new ATV2000 winches have internal spring brakes, preventing loads from slipping, as standard equipment.
Sounds like you got a good deal from a sales department that knows how to close a sale and appreciates your business.

I bought Superwinch ATV 2000 at Jig's for
$191 and the mounting plate from Cabellas for $56, two weeks ago./not available from Jig's at that time/.
I had to re-drill all holes in the mounting plate/ specifically made for SP500..!!??/
Other than that,it was very easy and simple to install it.
P.S. I trusted T.F's. expertise , so I bought SW .Plus I can not do any wheelies
with my SP 500 any more.
