Mysterious Quad I've Found...

All Xplorer 500's had IRS, but they were only made in '97. It was the only Xplorer with IRS made.
You will find some wierd things in the Polaris catalogs. A '99 Scrambler 500 and you can slightly see '98 flame graphics in one picture. Or a Sportsman with the winch up front and if you look close, another winch up in the corner of the bumper about 1/8 the size of anormal one, obviously pasted in by computer by mistake. Or the '97 Scrambler 500 complete with all 4-stroke parts & oil case, but a 2-stroke cap on the hood. There is more... Seek, and ye shall find.

"Seek and ye shall find"-Welcome to the wonderful world of Polaris. Must be a mistake surely.
The Xplorer 500 DID have an independent rear suspension, so does the Sportsman 500,335, and Diesel. It is far better than any other suspension, including the inferior Suzuki independent suspensions. I'm a Ruff Ryder.Nuf' said

Thank you for your recent e-mail to Polaris Industries Inc.
Good eye!! We did some checking on this one and found that no one could
give us an answer. Its possible that it was a prototype unit that never
made it to the market and was just used for the photo shoot. I am sorry
that I cannot give you better answer than this, but that is all the
information I could find out about it.
Thank you

Ah hah! I could have been right. It must have been the little brother to the Xplorer 500, but instead turned into the little brother of the Sportsman 500! (Sportsman 335) Because the last two digits on the size was 35.

Polaris is very secretive about there new products even with their dealers,i seen an 325 xpedition at their headquarters, and when i asked about it they told me it must have been a mistake.they also have a huge building full of different prototypes
