I KNOW ITS LIKE COMPARING APPLES TO ORANGES but was wondering how they compare head to head - dependability and such ( pros and cons) thanks!

I can only compare the Scrambler 500 4x4 to the Wolverine because i have riden the wolverine. I am impressed at how light and comfortable the wolverine is but that is as far as it goes for me.

The scrambler faster in accelaration and top speed, will out handle and is better for jumping even though it's heavier. The scrambler is liquid cooled

The kodiak is a 2wd utility machine and would be better compared to the Polaris trail boss 325.

As far as reliability i have not had any problems with mine. I don't know about the others.

Woops.....I originaly thought they did and was not completely sure but when i visited the Yamaha web site they did not list one in 4wd.

Are you sure they make one in 4wd or was is discontinued for 2000 in favor of the Timberwolf 4x4 and Wolverine 4x4 ?

I have a 2000 Kodiak, It's awesome, I bought it for hunting and winter riding. I just couldn't see dragging a deer with my Polaris Sport. It is both 2-4 WD. I don't think you could really compare it to a Scrambler. It can, however, slide and do doughnuts with the best of 'em. Tops out around 52-55 MPH. Sometimes you just want to ride something different, and it fits the bill perfectly.
