Had 2 Scrambler 500's........sold them........to slow.......bought 2 Bombardier 650's.........Scrambler 500's are not even close to DS650's. Just the facts.

 

True, but my 400L isn't slow. But are we talking 500 or 400 here, big big difference.

You will need a bit more than some PRM accessories, and a K&N to keep up with a fully modded 400L, not that the DS is a bad bike. If I were in the market for a new one it would be near the top of my list.

 

My modded Scrambler is tied w/ a shaved headed, open K&N filtered Banshee up to the begining of his 6th gear & beats a stock DS650 really baddly. I raced both of my friends twice. Stock it gets beat by LT250 but modded it will smoke 'em. This is my experience.

I have a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 it is faster than a 350 warrior a honda 400ex,and they are modifed a little bit hope this helps

My 400 edged out a golf cart once, a moped, and even a little old lady on an electric shopping cart. The toughest was when I raced a full race decked out PW50 the little guy got me off the line but at the end it was my oversized DG bumper that edged him out.

I'm not smoking anything. We where on a 150 yard (about) grass strip, and he was in front of me (we were trailriding just before the strip) and I pinned it. I flew by him, and at the end of the strip I asked him if he opended it up. He said he was about 75%. I was in high 4th gear.
