I am looking to buy a Polaris atv and have been looking at the sportsmen 500 and 335. I was wondering if there is that big a difference except for price between the two. I plan on using it for plowing snow and trail riding, Money is tight so any help would be appreciated. Thanks .

 

If your gonna Sportsman it, go for the 500. I have one, and after driving another quad in the 350 cc bracket, the 500 makes a BIG difference. Especially if your gonna be workhorsing it with a plow and stuff. All in all, a little more money for the 500 vs. the smaller one, get the 500.

the 335 is a 500 frame with a 335 motor..!

 

If you're a power freak get the 500. If you trail ride more than work get the 335. Although the 335 is a tough quad and can do a lot;everything a 500 can do just not as fast.
