Just rebuilt engine in my 97 trail boss, when it was sitting around in my garage with the clutch cover off, the clutch got very dusty. what and how should i go about cleaning it? because at low speeds it sounds like it is sticking, becouse from 1/4 throttle to idle it is knocking, on power is great just low end from 1/4 to idle decelerating.

I don't know if this is recomended by polaris or not, but i would remove the cover and use my air-compressor and "blow" any dust out of the clutch that i could. If that doesn't work i would disassemble the clutches and clean them out and check for possible damage then re-grease where needed and reassemble. other than that.....can't help ya! good luck!

I would add...blow DRY air into the clutch assembly. I always liked brake cleaner for cleaning parts and removing any possible residue from the shop environment.
