I have a 2000 Mag 500 and when ever i take off the rear brake starts clicking but when i get up to a higher speed it stops. it happens in reverse too. I checked the pads and they are good.

There mabey possibly something inside the rotor hitting the brake pad that you dont see. I would check that. You could take the brakes apart and clean them just be careful that you dont push in the break pistins.

I also experienced the clicking (sounds like a spring unwinding). I removed an aluminum spacer and clip from the rear brake and cleaned them up. For now the clicking is gone.

I don't know if the magnum is shaft drive, but on my scrambler the chain was causing that same noise.
