I recently had the hubs apart. I have the clymer service manual. This manual states that I should greese the bearings. I thought the hubs were lubricated from the hub fluid that polaris makes? When they were apart there were no signs of greese at all. Is the clymer manual incorrect? Was it a mistake buying te clymer version of the manual?

I recently had mine apart also to replace CV boot, and regrease cv joint.Im almost sure there is no need to grease hub, just fill hub fluid.Thats what I did. Were you able to tighten hub nut to proper torque?I have the same manual and as I recall it said to tighten to over 160lbs,but when I tightened it to 75lbs it would not turn.I just tightened to where I felt comfortable and it spun freely.I havent taken a test ride because Im waiting for A-arm bushings to come in.I have the same atv and manual and im not happy with either.Let me know how you make out.Their are some very knowledgeable people at these forums, that have helped me out more than once.Good luck

just remembered you must grease rubber gasket in hub, but that was all.

ferd350, one important thing to watch out for in a service manual is some torque specs are in foot pounds and some in inch pounds. Inch pounds are alot less torque. The hub nut spec of 160 is inch pounds.
