I noticed after our last ride that a couple of my rims had some pretty good dents on the outer edge. Tires have not lost any pressure, but I was wondering if this could cause a future problem and has anyone beat them dents out with a hammer or what?

I have lots of dents on my rims, and have no problems at all. My buddy on his 300ex rolled the outer edge of his left rim pretty bad a couple of weeks ago. He just grabbed a hammer, beat it back best he could, and keep going without any problems. I believe you will be fine.

Don't beat it with a hammer. I used to do that and it left big dents in the rims. The best thing is to use a crescent wrench and a rag. Put the rag over the dent and then just tighten it down on the outside of the rim and pull it back and forth until the dent comes out. It works great and doesn't mess up the rim as bad.

The crescent wrench deal sounds like the way to go...that hammer thing seemed a little bit radical..Thanks for the tip!!
