I was dissapointed because it is only a 329cc. I thought it would be more close, if not, a 350cc.

Damn I should have known that the Expedition was correct. I didn't know the diesel even said what size engine it had in it. I am not much on the Rancher anyhow. I really don't like the looks of it. It is more than likely a good bike. Seeing as it is made by Honda, but you could give me the 300 fourtrax over it anyday.

Didn't the old Foreman 350 have 350cc's?

Again with the not specifying! I was talking about the 300 honda over the 350 rancher. There are just things about it I don't like. It is probably a good bike, but I am not into it.

Why wouldn't you like it? Everybody that has one loves it, and it is replacing the Honda 300's.

BushHog, you reject the Rancher because it is only 329 cc displacement, 94 % of the nominal 350 cc figure, your prerogative and discretion, surely.

What is your threshold of acceptability?

What minimum displacement would meet with your approval?

1235cc's. Actually, 348cc's would be better.Oh well, whatever. I think the Ranchers look awesome. I'm not so sure about the optional electric shifting though.I'm a little afraid that it might short out in water, snow, or enough mud.

I'm not meaning I hate the bike Rooster. I just like the looks of the 300 better. The looks of it is all I was talking about. I'm sure the extra engine will make it a better bike. Plus it was a big selling point for Honda coming out with this. Plus them coming out with the Rubicon later this spring. I just like the traditional look. Like I said it is a Honda so it is bound to be a great bike, I just don't like the way it looks. Sorry if this offends anyone. Wasn't my intention.

BIGBADCAT, it is certianly your right not to like the looks of the Rancher. Its a matter of taste. As a fairly new Rancher owner I can say that for a 329cc machine, it has surpriseing power. It feels quicker than my buddys 450s, but we havn't raced so it my not be. The 450 does however feel more torquey. Bottom line, ride it before you decide 329cc is not enough for a 350, I think you will be very suprised.
