Scram 500 4x4,

Check the wires from the hub and trace them backwards. More than likely they are either disconnected or have a short in them.

If its not a wiring problem, your magnetic coil may be going bad. You can check this by disassembling the hub. There is a thin plate that goes on the back of the roll cage assembly and seats against a metal seal on the strut housing. With the power on, turn your 4WD on and place the plate against the metal seal on the strut. If the coil is good it should be VERY hard to remove from the strut. If you can peal it right off of the strut, then you will need to replace the magnetic coil.
