I just talked to Darrell the other day. The kit should be ready for sell
by September. Total price has not been set. My best guess is between
$800-$1200.00 dollars. Final HP numbers are 39.2 on high octane gas.
He raced a friend who had a 500 scrambler, piped and clutch kit. It only
beat him by a quad length. Then they traded rides and he rode the 500sc
and his friend rode the reed converted 250. They tied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A new magazine called "ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES" is supposed to have a full
blown write-up about the reed cage 250. Its due out this week.
I've got my money saved-up and ready to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that the kit will not include the 35mm carb they will give you a discount on the carb

I don't belive you can lighten up the concentric drive quads as much as I have done Basicly you strip it down to the frame remove all pieces you do not need to race it. That is basicly what I did. This is the easyest wat to explaine it have not done anything speical to it.After market parts are DG pipe DG nerfs douglas rims HPD roller clutch FOX 1.5 rear shock
