What Octane gas are you running?
#1
I just bought more fossil fuel for the Magnum and Scrambler, and while I was being a cheap bastard with the Regular 89, I wondered if anyone ran with Mid Grade or Super.
Does anyone run with the 'good stuff' and what benefits do you see with better gas.
And does anyone see any benefits to running with the clear Amaco Ultra?
I'm not sure if I'm buying into ad hype, but has anyone found one gas brand better than another?
I'd love to use Turbo Fuel, but this isn't any jet engine!
Thanks for the input,
Jack

My sportsman 500 loves the mid-grade ... much better power & throttle-response.

Unless your quad is experiencing spark knock [indication of low octane]you are all just wasting your $$ on higher octane fuels.Higher octane,as I understand it,has nothing to do with a engines ability to perform better. It only prevents the engine from spark knocking.Though I have no degree in octane, that is how I perceived octane.Correct me if you know differant. Thanks,===BILL
