WELL I AM LOOKING TO MAKE MY 2000 TRAIL BOSS FASTER.BUT I DONT WANT TO HAVE SOME ONE ELSE DO IT..I CAN DO JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT BOREING ..I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD CHANGE MY SPROCKETS TO MAKE IT GO FASTER ....IF SO WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GO TO AN HOW MUCH WILL THAT HELP ...ALSO I KNOW I CAN PUT A PIPE ON .WHAT PIPE WHOULD YOU SUGGEST FOR TOP AND LOW END....FOR NOW THATS ALL I CAN THINK OF TO MAKE MY TBOSS FASTER BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS PLEASE POST THEM...ANY ANSWERS WOULD BE GREAT.

 

First off I would try a K&N air filter. I don't know of any companies that make pipes for the Trail Boss 325 but if you do get a pipe then I would suggest getting a clutch kit with it so you can put your power to the ground better and get faster acceleration. About the sprokets, I really have no clue.

 

Ritter Cycle Racing(RCR) makes pipes/clutch kits for the Boss. They also make a 414Kit that would make a huge difference. As for the Sprockets? I wouldn't put any new sprockets on until you have more mods, because you won't have any low end power to get up hills. Go and check out www.rittercycle.com they'll have everything you need.

 

thanks for the replies guys.i was wondering with a stage one kit chooseing a low end pipe...then changing the sprockets to a bigger or smaller size....would that help me much ???all i want is more all around power...also if i did this how much of a difference would the sprockets make??and what would they inprove??thanks for any information..
