I have finally decided I need a new chain and set of sprockets for my 1999 xplor 400. Its at the point where the chain wont tighten anymore! So what I wanted to know is what are some good brands, how much they cost for a set of all, and what has been the best for you in long lasting. Also if you know the specs for the teeth count for front and rear and chain links. I heard sidewinders is pretty good. Whats good from them for under $300? Last but not least. How hard is it to install all this, is it somthing a person with some knowladge of working on quads can do? Thanks for all your help, really hope to get some good feedback.

I believe if you do a search on Sidewinder, you will find that most people don't recomend them. I've heard that their customer service is nothing short of a nightmare. Their ads sound convincing, though.
