I have a stock explorer 400 and am thinking of installing a white spring from RCR. What will I gain or lose power wise?
I do some sport riding, but I also use it to haul firewood. Also how difficult is it to change?
All answers are appreciated
Thank you.

I beleive that I was one of the first guys to do the spring changes to the primary clutch in these Forums. There is very little differance between the green and white spring.I installed the green spring. It is WELL worth the 25 dollars.Call Rick Ritter at 618-644-3211 and he'll fix you up.

Your first improvement will be your low range wheelies.WOW!And now you will actually have to hold the front end down to avoid going over backwards. This spring takes nothing from your top end,and really helps out the low end.

Installation is a snap.Just remove the left side floor board and than take off the black clutch cover and the primary is right there. You'll see a large center bolt and 3 groups of 2 7/16 bolts.Take all these out and the spring is right behind this.Reverse this order for installation and be sure to torque everything down.

Good Luck,
Bill
