The Sportsman 700 Twin will be unveiled at the Hunter's Expo at 7:00 pm Friday the 24th and will be at the show all weekend.

I just got word from my local dealer. He spoke to a dealer freind up there and said that the bike is awesome! 14 inches of clearance at the rear with 25 inch tires! Smoother ride than an H.O. and much more power. He said that in a drag the 700 Twin got the H.O. on the jump and just pulled away! 15 lengths when it was all over! I can't wait to see it, or ride it! Hell if I can get the phone number I want to call the dealer myself and hear the thing! I don't know about you guys but LR isn't that far away. If I leave by Twelve I can be there in time!

 

My dealer, located in Cash Texas (actualy a Greenville phone#) told me Monday ,that they were going to get to test drive the new "Beast" on the 30th. They would'nt tell me exactly where the ride would take place, except that it is in Dallas. I gotta tell ya, the more I hear about this 700, the better it sounds to me! I normally ride trails , but I need a quad that can pull my welding trailer (when it's muddy, and i can't get out in the field to build pipe fences)and also launch pwc's down at the lake. I think I'll start primeing my wife up about get'in one of those![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

The local guys will have one on the floor on Friday...Talking around $6999 or so.

Coonass, you want to just hear the thing?! It doesn't sound like the regular sportsmans at all. It almost sounds kinda like a car, more smooth and quiet. It is quite a machine, I have seen lots of them driving around in the area here. (testing)

 

I just talked to my mechanic Steve at the dealership.He said that they will have 1 in a few wks for display only,than in October,they have a shipment of 11 coming in.I like everything about this ATV except its weight.WHY does it have to weigh so damn much?
