Gotta agree with Bubba, sounds like lots of obstacles, and general wear. Busted a gut on 325's post ....same tree twice!!! They all have good points, and weak points. Ride 'em hard, fix 'em when they need TLC, and let a buddy take your's for a spin so you can add to the number of riders out there.

if you guys are bragging about all the parts broken on your polaris thats sad! I am not putting down america but at least the Japs put time and money and quality parts in there atvs, for example polaris: plastic wheel hubs on some 250 models,yamaha/suzuki/kawasaki/honda/ect put strong steel parts and have high peformance engines but iam not putting down the predator seeing most the parts are aftermarket parts like the shocks, tires, rims, ect and from what every body said the engine is built by rotax/bombardier but pooplaris took all credit I would buy artic crap over a polaris

Had speedometer on 01 500HO replaced because of water.
Started as condensation, got heavier and heavier.
Digital readout was anything but accurate - finally died.
Replaced by Polaris.
The replacement speedo also has vapour. Removed speedo
and drilled two 1/8" holes in bottom of unit to ensure
water did not stay and short out unit and do possible
damage (I.E. get stranded in middle of nowhere).
Wifes 400 has very minor condensation also and will be drilling
her speedo soon.

run lean and the carb should of adjusted itself, but nooooooo
it couldn't I burned a hole in the piston.....
Damn cheap parts......

The engine gave me no clue........right........

Good humor!!! hehe. I guess when I think of everything I've put mine through, sure there's maintenance, but that's quality time in da garage. Crank up da tunes, and wrench/modify away. The grin factor of the power far outways any thing that might go bump in the night.
One time, at band camp, this oak tree, well let's just say it moved. All of the sudden, it was right in my way.....though I had strayed off the trail.....it was right in my way. Save the furry critters, aim for the trees!!!!
