Green spring results?
#1
I wanted to know, did everyone who installed a green spring be able to get the front tires of the ground after with no effort? Also you have a winch on it? Can u get the front end up on cement? I just installed one and I have a winch on front but still wont let me get the front tires of the ground. I got mine from RCR and also when u installed it, does your quad sit there for like a second when u give it gas and then take off? Thats what mines doing with green spring.

Sounds about right. The green spring alone cost me mph. Added the 50.5 weights got the speed back. Still not right though as you need to tune for rpm with a tac to get it right. I have A HSP hypershift kit to try now. (spring, weights, helix) I should go put it in and see if makes a difference.

Oops I can land it on the rear bumper in low. Just a big tug on the bars while slaping my 225 lb but on the seat. What sounds right is "does your quad sit there for like a second when u give it gas and then take off? Thats what mines doing with green spring." But this is in high not low.

I got a green spring from RCR too and put it in my 400 Xplorer, and even with a winch on the front it will pull the wheels in HIGH range.

Anyone have some ideas for what i should check for why the front tires wont come of the ground with the primary green spring from RCR? Also I have checked filter, so dont worry about the checked also plug and its running a little to rich, but that should'nt affect it right? Still should get the frotn tires off the ground even when its running rich? I also allready have a K&N, Dynoport Pipe. Hopefully I can get down to this problem

Wheelies are different things to different people.
Some people just sit on the seat and twist the throttle. Some people sit on the luggage rack and jerk like the dickens on the handlebars.
They both call them wheelies.
Two people could have identical machines. One weighs 300 lbs and the other person weighs 140 lbs. Whose front end is going to come up easier?
A green spring will raise the engagement point of the clutch, theoretically putting the engagement more into the meat of the power band. But are the standard weights enough to make the engagement harder? It depends on your rider weight and the designed power range of your Dynoport aftermarket pipe. If it is a high end power pipe you have taken launch torque away from your engine. Combine this with winches, coolers, cargo boxes and heavy tires and you are going backwards in the wheelie department.
