No spark on HO

Coming over to the Polaris forum to look for some answers or info... My brother's new HO (300) miles died this weekend when we were out riding, everything seems fine but no spark??? Has anybody else had this happen on their's? Warranty just ran out in Aug. Thinking it is maybe the coil or the stator, sure going to try to get it fixed under warranty. Thanks Aczr2k
