I got hold of Polaris in minn and he got hold of my dealer,They (my dealer)have to call the polaris tech before they do anything.
This is so the tech can walk them through whatever they do.
I know it's an alignment problem, you know it,and more then half the people on this fourm know it,But the dealer I have keeps comeing up with all this" OFF THE WALL CRAP"(I'm waiting for him to tell me I have to **** on my belt to make it stop breaking)
As for another dealer, this one is 45mins away, the next one is 2hrs away.
we'll see what happens when I get it back.I dropped it off this morning.

Hot Seat sells part# 2872292 alignment tool for EBS, and #2870654 for non-EBS, for $34.95 and $27.95 respectively. Also thier primary and secondary pullers $19.95 and $13.95 are also a couple of toolbox must haves. You won't beleve the reduction in clutch dust after you straighten things out. Good luck!

500 DUSE,

OK I am relieved to find out dust is normal. The riding was beautiful in Mena, AR. The Sportsmans performed flawlessly and the power was amazing! At 35 mph (with my wife on board) these things accelerate like a bat out of hell going up hill on the moutain trails!

The trip was soooo good that my dad saw the pictures and purchased a 2002 Sportsman 500 HO Saturday so he will no longer miss out on the fun!

Wow, what a couple of morons you have at the local dealership. It is almost worth it to go the two hours to the next one after hearing about that dealer.
I also agree with the other in the idea that the clutches are misaligned. Let us know what happens with the dealer and the clutches.

(P.S. Yahoo, this is my 1000 post on this board.)

Gordo37, I'm always interested in riding! However this weekend is our open house for our dealership and I may be tied up. I know for sure I will be working until 8pm on Friday and Saturday at least 'til 5pm (probably a little later). I actually live at the intersection of Route 36 and Pine Hollow Road, so I live only about a mile and a half from Newmansville. Give me a reminder later in the week and I will let you Know?
