I am proud to say that I am a owner of a new 2002 scrambler 500 4x4. I traded in my 2001 sportsman 500 for this machine at the dealership. my question is , what is the difference between my machine and this so called scrambler X? Is it any faster and why? I asked my dealer and he never even heard of the scrambler X.

bigblock,

The only real differences between the two are the fancy black plastic with BNGs, some "aftermarket goodies" and a change in gearing to give the feel of the machine having more power than it really does. Other than that, it isn't worth the extra money. Oh yes, it's only a 2x4.
