According to the specs in Polaris literature it sounds like the 700 may have different rear suspension. They refer to a single monotube shock and describe it differently. If so, why are they changing this. I thought the Sportsman rear suspension was supposed to be pretty good (hope so, since I just ordered a 500!).

It does have IRS just like the 500. I think monoshock is just a different company or something. I could be wrong though.

Whats wrong with your 1988 Mojave? I have one, just wondering if you know of any problems, I've had mine for about three months, ride it hard, and no problems at all! Thanks.

Think about it for a second. How in the hell can you have an independant suspension with just ONE shock? It says monotube I think.
