Whats wrong

I have a 99 500 scrambler and the belt is slipping bad the is a black substance coming out where the air does on the belt houseing. And i was wonder what would be the best total clutch kit for low end for one of these i have tryed a aaen roller it broke in 6 months and i has a hotseat which is back in it now and it doesnt work well. Is the hpd clutch any good the shift conversion one and what is the heel clicker like any info will help

you probaly have worn out cam arm bushings. Rebuild the primary clutch and that should fix the problem.

I just put a HPD clutch kit in my 01 Scrambler 500 it works vrey good. Is the black substance liquid or dust. My 01 had a bad shaft seal on the transmission which was replaced and I also had them put a new belt on at the same time which solved my slippage problem.

01 Scrambler 500 4x4
HPD Ugly Duckling Muffler & Pipe
K&N and HPD Clutch kit
