I was just wondering what I'm gonna be getting into, its the front sprocket on the four wheel drive system. Will I have to take the tire and everything off? Or is there an easier way? Thanx. Lata.

Hello Cowtit! I'll give it a shot at helping you out even though I've haven't done this yet.
In my manual for a 97 it says once you have removed the chain, remove the driveaxle. If my memeroy serves me right, there are roll pins close to the sprocket, tap those out. then all it says is slide the sprocket off the eccentric shaft. Sounds pretty simple enough, let me know how it goes. Installation is the reverse of the removal steps. LOL, just had to add that in there.
