I was going down the road and passed a truck with what appeared to be a Scrambler or TBlazer with plain black plastic in the bed. I turned around and chased it down. I did not look like the black plastic with the metal flake. Did Polaris ever make a plain black Sport, Scrambler, or TBlazer?
If they did what years was it?

This winter I am converting my TBoss over to the Sport/Scrambler plastic and I am having a hard time deciding what color to go with. I like white because it hides scratches but black looks wicked.

If your worried about scratched plastic , check out
www.clear-guard. I have their protection kit on my white/black raptor, the kit covers the high scratch areas on the front and rear fenders. Good stuff!

You really have to get up close to see the metallic. This is the only black Polaris has made. If you keep a layer of 3M marine vinyl protectant on it, it shines o.k.. If you want a close up of it, mine is going to be in the Dec issue of ATV Sport. I'd like to try that clear guard also.

325TrailBoss, have you figured up how different the plastics are considering mounting locations and fit? I too want to change over my plastics to scrambler type, could you keep us posted on the metamorphasis?
BTW, where are you getting your replacement plastic?
Thanks

My Scrambler had the white plastic. It really doesn't hide the scratches because the mud and dirt gets into the scratches and is very hard to get out. I threw my white plastic in the shed and went with red rear, yellow front and a red nose clip. I think it looks really good. I switched to the red sport nose clip to get the extra headlight. You can see the before and after pics on my site. After you click on "photos" click "Scrambler Project".

Thanks alot. Yours is pretty sweet looking too. What kind of tires are those? I just used Krylon I believe. I'm not home to look at the can right now. But it has held up great. I did put a few coats on it. I've been in deep gritty mud and gravel and it hasn't chipped, flaked or scratched at all.
