A ride on the 700
#1
I have a freind who owns a Polaris dealership and when he offered to let me ride a 700 at our hunting club for an afternoon what could I say. The power is impressive to say the least but very controllable. Excellant powerband. There is a lot of talk about the weight but it didn't feel a lot different than the 500. The ride was fairly soft and it handled very well in the woods. All and all it was just a blast to ride, just point and shoot. Everyone in our group that rode it that day came back with a big smile and uttering the same four letter word.

i know Phil Huffman who owns a car dealership and Jeff Huffman who is county executive. Don't know Andy but there are a lot of Huffmans here, mostly in the Brighton/Munford area just outside of Covington. Those Huffmans are famous for their parties.

I was riding with a guy who has ridden hisw 700 alot already. He says he can pull a really good wheelie from a standstill, without leaning back, on pavement. He also was going about 1/2 throttle, hit a small bump, and pull the wheels in the air. He was tearing around in a mudhole like nobody's business. it has an ungodly amount of power. it turned those rawhide tires over with ease. also, he says that the tires are already starting to wear on him. the only other problem i saw was that when he was going really slow over some ravines, it would take a while for the tranny to engage. it looked like it was kind of herky-jerky over the really rough stuff. other than that, this four wheeler is just simply amazing.
