I am thinking about adding a winch to my ride. Do I need to change to a bigger battery or will the stock size work. Before anybody says anything, yes this is going on my Scrambler. It gets stuck just as well as the big boys. Has anyone installed one on there Scrambler? What size did you use.

Thanks

Polaris makes a winch and bumper combo for it. I Thought about getting it, but I don't want anymore weight on the front end...I like to jump it. Got a question for you ....I see you have the Dirt Devils, are they alot better than stock and how to they do on hill climbing and in the mudd... Let me know

I have a Superwinch 1500 on my sport and it works great. I didn't buy the combo from Polaris because it was so expensive.Mine mounts on top of the nose.It is neat and looks good.I am thinking of selling it .I just don't go anywhere to use it and I have a Kawasaki with a winch. I am asking $200 for the winch , bracket , and fairlane. It is in excellent shape and less than a year old. I live in Greenville SC and will be in Pegion Forge on the 3rd of Nov. Mail me if you are interested. JPrentice1@Prodigy.net The standard battery works fine for me also.

I mounted my superwinch1500 under the rear grab bar. Made a bracked that bolts under and it works great, only bad thing is the winch pulls you out on the bad side of the hole.. but the good new when the 500 gets stuck it's usually real good...

my 2 cents
