Now what do I do? I just sold my wifes Magnum 325 after talking her into taking my Magnum RMK 500 so that I can get the 700. I think I may have put the cart before the horse. Problem is, that there are no 700's in California right now because Polaris is waiting for them to pass Calif.'s smog requirements (isn't that a bunch of crap!). I have a ride coming up over Thanksgiving weekend and I really hope to have this thing by then, but there is no idea when they are going to be ok'd for our state. Boy, it looks like my wife gets to go and this time I have to stay home! This SUCKS!!!

 

I don't know what part of California you live but would it be worth the trip to another state? Not sure of the laws for California but here in Tennessee we can purchase it from anywhere. This is just an idea.

Well, you see thats the tricky part. Here in the Peoples Republic of California if you buy a quad from out of state that does not meet Calif.'s smog requirements you get a Red sticker for licensing instead of a Green sticker. That restricts you from riding in certain places here in state at certain times of the year, however its ok for you to come in here and ride from out of state with the same machine that I might have a Red sticker on that limits me. Does this make sense? I have trouble with it! But, thats the price we pay for living where we do!! It would also possibly reduce the resale value or trade in value. So, I guess i'll wait.
