I have a '02 sp500ho and am ready to get front double tube bumpers from the polaris catalog, but i'm seeing info that seems to indicate the 2000lb warn winch is the only one to use on the bumper, not the 2500lb unit. anyone have any experience with this? thanks

My experience tells me that the 2000 and the 2500 aren't any different in the mounting. Actually the only difference is the heavier guage wiring and the remote. My buddy had a 2500 mounted on his bumper with no problems. He ran it for about a year and then sold it for a Prairie 650. If I am wrong then someone will correct me.

You will need to purchase the double tube bumper winch mounting bracket (the same bracket that comes in the 2872337 winch kit). The mounting of the winches is not different, it is the plate in the kits that are different.
