What is the deal? There does not seem to be much talk of the new 700. Is nobody buying them? Hard to find? Last year everbody was talking about it, now it is here and nobody is talking about it? why?

I wouldnt say its a flop. I think they SP500 owners are happy with their quads and seem to be keeping them.

I bought one.......every one that comes in are sold...........not many being available unitl Janurary. I just ran an HO with the high altitude jet, the smallest you can put in, at 1100 feet and smoked it.....................this thing is for real. The HO does have a softer ride but the 700 handles much much better and has alot more power. I am putting in the correct Jetting this weekend.........so I will have much more power. I cant wait........the 700 is no flop..........it has fixed all the little things that needed improved on the HO......................

vegasdude, do u think ur sp 700 can handle a Pr 650 ? no one seems to have compared (acceleration and top speed) the two yet!! and what about the stearing, does it require more effort than the HO ?

The three at my dealer sold over the phone before they were even taken out of the crate. He is not getting anymore in until the end of November and 2 of those are already purchased. It is hard to find one to look at because they are selling before they hit the dealer's floor.

The 700 stearing is much easier than the 500, in two wheel or 4 wheel........as far as the prairie goes we will see..............

Vegasdude,

When the HO came out the ride SUPPOSEDLY wasn't quite as plush as the pre-HO's as Polaris went to gas shocks. If the 700 is a little harder yet; do you think there really is that much differrence between the three? Is the relatively little extra weight of the 700 taking its toll on what a standard production shock can do for a heavier machine? I'm sure they all ride fairly close, just curious if a heavier rider with a fair amount of gear could feel the difference on the factory(low) shock settings. Thanks,

John
