What are those glove/mitten/cover things called?

you kow those mitten things that go over the handle bars and you put your hands in them for toasty warmness,
i want to get them and hand guards so i can speed in the icy winter wind and keep it toasty

I think what you are talking about are called gauntlets. Check the snowmachine catalogs, I think you'll have better luck finding them there.

I got mine threw Dennis Kirk ATV catalog. We also sell them at our dealership. I've always called them "handle bar mitts". I don't know how well they will work with hand guards. I don't think the mitts will go over hand guards too. I know I couldn't put mine over them. The mitts also have to slide all the way over your controls. I don't think the guards would let them slide down over the whole way.

I'm sure with some time you could figure out a way to make them work together but you'll have to do some customizing. I think I'm going to put some of those hand warmers on mine. With those, the mitts and a thin pair of gloves you'd be able to keep your hands nice and toasty.
