This weekend while making the Expedition I was riding make like a submarine, the front hubs would pull very strongly to one side for a while, making it impossible to turn in that direction. What causes this. It did not start until we took it into some really deep water, but shouldn't it be sealed good enough to prevent this? I also notice this on the Scrambler that I own, after taking it through some decent water, it will try and engage the front hub, hence jerking to one side violently. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening in the future. I do change the oil in the hubs after heavy riding in water, but what else can I do???

Could one of your inner or outer hub seals possibly have gone bad? It could also possibly be an exposed wire.
