I'm in Erie County so I don't have too many places to ride. I went all the down to PA once for 10 miles of the worst, rocky trail you can imagine. It was Willowcreek down by Bradford. Well, at least they have public trails down in PA.

I belong to NYTRO but our trails are kind of far away so I only get out occasionally. I'd love to be able to ride from my house but my neighbor the farmer hates ATVs and doesn't like them on his trails. I live in the country but no one else rides around here so there are no ATV trails.

ATVGUY

You went to the wrong trails in Pa.

The Timberline and Mairenville trails are a lot better,

Timberline is woods raods and forest trails 38 miles long

Mairnville trail is close woods, rocks, power lines, and some woods raods about 37 miles

These two trails have a trailhead at a place called pigs ear just off Pa. Route 66 south and west of kane Pa.

It would take you an extra 1/2 hr or so of drive time but well worth it

Thanks for the info, I wish I would have known this before I unloaded at Willowcreek. I did think it was real strange that I was the only one there...

Hi Andy, That guy was right about timberline/marrienville trails. We (the guys you met at pleasant ave. a few weeks ago) went there this past summer and had a great time. We plan on making a few runs again this spring/summer for sure. Depending on the weather we may even go this winter after hunting season. If we do I will make a post here to let anyone interested know. Oh yeh, IF we finaly get any snow, a few of us have our chestnut ridge permits and will be checking that place out. But if it stays mild we will head out to pleasant ave. Take care and see ya out there. Bob

I keep forgetting my permit for the Ridge! And I need 3 now since I just got a sled! It was too much for me living right here on a trail. I'm going to call the County right now.
