not being irs, did u notice a big difference in ride quality
between the 400 and the 600?

 

To be honest, not as much as you would think. I had changed the 400 to a
heavy duty spring & it rode really nice, especially when riding double. The IRS
has a tendency to sag in the rear with 2 people or heavy trailer tongue weight.
There's pros & cons to each.

 

96 400 xplorer...4000 miles....no mods! (except starter doesn't work)

 

Heck Get the starter back working, gotta love E-Bay-there are some avaiable on there now for our ATV.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

do you know what make/models the starter would work on mine?

 

I just bought one on there 2 weeks ago, and the listing of the posting usually tells you what different models that it does interchange with..
