Hi
I just bought a Sportsman 500ho. It's silver with chrome wheels.
It looks very sharp except that half of the paint is covered with stickers! Anyone found a good way to remove them without ruining the paint.
I understand the messages are important, but its all in the manual.
I would no sooner have these stickers on my ATV than I would put stickers all over my car.
Thanks,
Ringwood

If you use a heat gun, or blow dryer, they will come off rather easily. Heat the BACK of the plastic where the sticker is located, not the front. If you heat the front of the sticker, you will have a harder time getting the sticker off.

get a rag soaked in paint thinner and let it lay over the sticker for a little bit and it will fall off without hurting anything..

One of the first mods I do to my bike is stop at the car wash on the way home . Hit those stickers with the high pressure washer, it will blow them stickers right off! Watch out for the ones that you want to keep!

I have had the best luck with a good old hairdryer and a little patience. Heat the sticker up and little and they will peal right off. I then use some WD-40 to remove the sticker residue. I tried brake fluid, brake cleaner, sticker remover, carb cleaner, acetone, etc and nothing worked as good as a hair dryer. Hope this helps.

Get rid of all those idiots who are not responsible for their own actions, then get rid of their lawyers, then you won't have all of those stickers! Seriously, mild heat sources like hair dryers (not propane torches) are the best way to get the sticker to peel. Try smearing the residue with peanut butter and let it sit overnight. The oils in peanut butter should lift the residue but if it doesn't, any of the above substances work good at removing it.
