I am looking for not only the best performing exhaust for a 2002 Trailblzaer 250, but I also am looking for something quality and that sounds good. What do you guys think is the best choice? I am really considering Hot Seat Performance's Speed kit. Thanks!

You really need to talk to Rick at RCR Racing. I just bought (this Monday) and Trail Stage 1 kit from him. I finally chose the HPD pipe over the RCR pipe. Rick worked with me decribing the (very) slight differences. When my new 2001 Scrambler 400x2 if off warranty, I will do a LOT more business with him (porting, carb, head, etc....).

But don't cheat yourself from Rick at www.rittercyclce.com. He sells HPD and his own stuff. He seems very accurate, polite and patient. Do Ritter before Hot Seat.

I have HPD's on my 99 TB. It has a good fit and finish and the
sound is the familar two-stroke "ting-ting-ting" not at all
like the stock TB. RCR would be my next choice. Stay away from
the Hotseat PIPES.

I agree with the others. I think HPD and RCR make the best pipes. If you go with either of them, order it through RCR and you will be extremely happy with the product and the service.
