why the personal attacks Xplor? I dont understand what I have done to you. All you know about me is a few posts on here and you are ready to say I am a terrible role model? You better be careful in the words that you choose!

Zoinks... please stop using this thread for your comments. This thread was made for one purpose: To get small donations from fellow forum members to help out some kids this x-mas... sheesh! Have you noticed that hardly anybody here has pitched in compared to other forums? (I did say "hardly anybody" which means not as many as I thought could have if it were not for the negative posts by a couple members) This thread was all twisted around since page 1 and yet you keep on arguing. Stop trying to defend yourself. I can't even believe I let you get to me like this. I need not explain anything to you anymore... you won't inderstand anyway. I am not going to be the one to explain generosity, deservedness (sp?), envy, bitterness or any other fundamental "good ways to live and treat others" to you... and yes, I choose my words carefully, thank-you.

By the way Zoinks, do you not know that first impressions are the most important??? ...well lets say I am not very impressed with you. Thats it. Bye-bye!

Greg... did you raise enough yet? Has anybody else pitched in? I find it great that so many have pitched in and helped out these youngsters and there father, despite the negative vibes here on ATVConnection. Good luck and keep on pushin!

By the way, it may be good to start another thread on the subject so that those interested won't see all the bickering.

If everyone comes through with their posted donations, we should be around $1300-$1400. We have a major manufacturer that will sell us a 90 at cost. I will update the donation list soon. Donations have slowed down. I think it may be due to a few negative post... people do not want to get involved with a dispute. I am disappointed this thread turned out this way. this site has 20000 plus members and has produced less than one tenth the donations of other sites with as little as 500 members. Like I said before, please try to look past the negativity. We are trying to accomplish something good here.

Could you post the links to the threads on the other forums, I could not find them?
Which brand/dealer are you working with?

I am sure if you set something up with a real dealer and the donations were sent to the dealer you would get alot more contributions plus the dealer would get some good publicity.

The donations are all going to Lonewolf. Knutz has spoken with Bombadier... the manufacturers rep., not a particular dealer.

Greg,
Please post as soon as possible the amount we have received and the approximate amount still needed to make this happen. I believe like myself, there are still people who have already donated that are willing to send more if needed. Keep up the good work and don't let all this negativity distract from what we are trying to accomplish, which is making a merry Christmas for these kids. To all who have not donated yet please help if you possibly can. It would be great to get these kids a little larger quad than a 90, perhaps a 125. Thanks to all of you caring folks who have already donated.

Greg Sims,
LoneWolf's post today on ATVNATION says so far he has received only $820.00. Hopefully other donations are in the mail. Regardless it looks like more help is needed. I previously sent in $20.00 but I am sending in an additional $30.00 today. Everyone please read all of the posts related to this drive and please, please help if you can. These kids deserve our help!
Merry Christmas To All

Greg,

I am sending $20. You can add that to the tally. Check is already in the envelope, and will be put in the mail tomorrow morning after I get a stamp.

Greg,
I am happy to see that we have come up with the numbers we have so far. If we do get to $1400.00 then i am sure we can get the kids a quad for that. I look past all the bad comments on this site and go streight to the real point! I feel good about helping out some kids! If i wasn't here and my kids needed help, i am happy to see there are some people out there who would step up to the plate for them, as we have. And if 1 or 2 people out there dont get it, then i think its there loss, not ours. I find myself coming in here every day just to see if we reached our goal, and if a quad has been purchaced. That kind of pleasure is worth $20.00 or even $50.00 dollars. God bless you all for donating. I for one find it just a little bit easier to sleep when i get involved with this kind of thing!
