If you go the dyno port route you will probally be happy until you run with an RCR or HPD bike.

back in '96 with my first scrambler 400,i ran the dynoport tune pipe with silencer only, this pipe is the loudest i've heard for a scrambler 400,you didn't need clutch kit for this pipe tough cauz have alot of bottom end power, the pipe light very fast but the end power is poor,in my opinion when they say "power" they're talking about awsome torque and and bottom end response, very loud and that it.

I agree with BOTH these guys.Stay AWAY from DynoPIT.I bought one for my 400 and Rich[the owner] lied to me about its noise level and performance. After a long fought out battle with my credit card company,he was ORDERED to take his POS pipe back.

Any pipe that does not require you to re-jet,will NOT give substancial gains in power/acceleration.Be aware of this,as Dynoport advertises that their pipe does NOT need to be re-jetted.

I installed a modified PSI pipe with a stock Scrambler silencer and this thing gave 3x more acceleration over the Dynoport pipe.
