I have been researching tires to accomodate a 175 lb rider who will have his 4 year old son on mostly trail riding and doing some light work around the yard. I will be doing some more aggressive riding with the boys too. I like the TITAN 489 A/T. Through Rocky Mountain ATV I can have four delivered for $210. Does anyone have any other recommendations ? Thank you.

I bought tires for my Trail Boss four months ago. I bought Bearclaws for the rear Which are wonderful! Titan 489s are OK but are more prone to flats than 4-ply tires like the Bearclaw. Chaparral Racing is the cheapest place I found. Look for the add in quad magazines.

I agree with Weedy. I had a 98 Trailboss that came stock with Goodyears (i think were called Wranglers) I switched to Kenda bearclaws and the differance in traction was amazing.

Thanks for the reply guys. The only concern I have is the aggressive design of the Bearclaws.
I will be riding on hardpack trails, as well as, working around my yard. I am woried about lack of bite on the hardpack and do not want to tear up my lawn. I realize I can't "have it all" with one specific tire, but I thought these were more of a mud tire than an all-around tire. I appreciate your opinion so please reply. Thanks.
