It is just a wire clamp and some wire.

Hum, it's not as simple as it seems, because in the light switch mount on Polaris, it's the ground wire witch is actionned for low beams and the 12v wire for the high beams. So, be carreful if you put a wire between those wire, with a simple switch ! I've tried and the result is pretty bad.

Default Sportsman Headlights

I modified my lights on both my 400 exp and my 600 sport, I installed a toggle switch that shorts the green and yellow wire in the harness from the handlebar. When I throw the switch it causes all three lights to be on at the same time, when off they operate normally. I've been running this mod on the explorer for three years with no problem. it's a perfect setup, low beams aimed in front of the machine and high beam where me handlebar is pointed. And NO it doesn't waer the battery down or burn out the alternator.
