The Aaen pipe makes it's maximum power lower in the RPM range than the HPD trail pipe does. The Aaen pipe peaks before 6750 RPM and the HPD trail pipe peaks at a little over 6750 RPM. I'd guess that there isn't enough difference to warrant a switch between the two. Besides, I'm not sure if they (HPD) make the trail pipe for the 400 Sportsman.
