Does anybody not like their plastic racks? I personally love them. I like how they don't bend and crack the fenders in a wreck. Also, the passenger lllllllllooooooovvvvveeeeees them. What does everybody else think?

I prefer the plastic. Easier to bind stuff down on and easier to stand on when I'm sinking.

I like them also.

I rolled my machine at 60mph down a snowy back road a few years ago. I was immediately ejected off but the machine probably did about a dozen barrel rolls before it came to a stop. The rear rack was bent so far down that it almost had the fenders touching the tires. I got it running and rode to my parents house.

I removed the rack so I could bend the metal frame the rack sits on. The rack was bent almost into a "U" shape. I sat it on the floor while I bent the metal back into place. I was hoping to be able to force the rack straight again. When I turned around to put my rack back on, it had already straightened itself out. I bolted it back on and you could never tell it had been rolled like it was. I was very happy at that point to have a "plastic" rack. A metal one would have been destroyed.

I love my plastic racks. I'm thinking of having them Rhino Coated soon. I think it would make them look cool and protect them better.
