'01 HO shifting problem

Anyone have a problem with their '01 HO shifting **** coming out of gear or difficulty getting into gear? any info would be greatly appreciated. It pops out of reverse and is tuff finding and coming out of lo.

Yes, I had the problem last year. The dealer first tried adjusting the shifting linkage. Sounds obvious, but this did not work. He changed my transmission belt and this worked. He said that he had seen several Sportsman H.O. that were brought back and had a slight mfg defects in the belts. He stated that this defect caused the transmission belts to grab prematurely. You can check it out by putting your H.O. in gear. If it moves then you likely have the defect as well ( or your RPM are to high ).
