Hi Stinky - Not sounding good. I put up a post in the Honda section asking Knowsalot or anyone else to help with your 'blazer. I wish I could be of more help but I don't know enough about quads yet. Just bought my first one in December. I'll put one in the Polaris section too. Good Luck!!!

Thx Rancher Dave,
I have finally found a Polaris mechanic over here that knows what they are doing,
6 hours drive away but it it is worth it.
Well I try to do most of my repairs myself with the help of all you guys here.
(I just sent it to him to get a second opinion on if it was way too lean, thus causing my probs).
Turns out to be a probs caused by the tune, ie hole in the piston, & I think he said there was a broken ring.
The good thing is he phoned the guys that tuned it, on my behalf, & discussed that it was way to leen & it was no prob of mine that this happened, and they have agreed to pay for a new piston to be fitted.
& the great thing is, with slight cylinder damage, it has to be re-boared....
mmmmmmmmm oh well I guess I can accept a Wiseco....LOL.
Maybee there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hey, That's great. You won't find many shops that will do that. I kind of thought you might have burned a hole in the piston. I did that with a 350 Chevy engine once. Like I said, I'm new at 4-wheeling but I'm learning. Mostly been cleaning and shining cars and motorcycles in spare time. Good luck with your 'blazer and be careful out there. Later.
