Having fun with submitting feedback to this forum. I've read that others are having some problems too, double submissions and stuff. Hopefully atv connection will rectify this problem soon. Til then, I've decided not to play with wrecking bars and long screwdrivers to change tires, let a tire shop get paid for what they do every day.

Wise choice SWAC. It's not worth damaging a wheel or tire for what they charge.

The 10” wheels are on the rear for a softer ride, you know how Polaris likes to give a soft ride.

You’re gong to put 12x27” tires on 7” wheels?!? Not recommended my friend. The stock rears are 8” wide you know, and they come with only 11” wide tires on them. You’re going the other way. Heck, I was running 7” front wheels for 9” wide tires as the recommended combo.

You’d better contact Sand Tires Unlimited and get their opinion of that combo before you mount ‘em up. I think they’ll tell you a 5” difference between wheel and tire width is not going to be the ideal setup.

Thanks Floodrunner, I contacted Sand Tires Unlimited and am awaiting their reply about the tri-claws (12X12) on a 7" wide rim. Hopefully they will fit as I have been waiting about 1 month right now to put them on and to find they don't work, I'll not be a happy camper!

I am going to try the new 7" wide rims on the fronts holding the 9.75" bi-claws and try the 8" wide fronts on the rear holding the 12" wide tri-claws. Just have to make sure theres room at both front and rear. Not sure of any off set on the new ITP rims, but hope all is well. If need be, I can turn the rims backwards and use washers to take the space of the indent should they be turned "backwards" or inside-out. I don't want to get into using spacers. I am already concerned about added stress from the lift kit on the front, and the heavier rubber. We'll see...

Whoops, my mistake. I brushed the snow off the rims on the front of the Sportsman, and they are a 6" wide X 12" rim. So they will stay where they are, and I'll fit the 7" wide rims with the 12" wide tri-claws on the rear. Get yer $%#@!
together SWAC1.
